Shaping Educators Since 1980

MVJ College of Education, established in 1980 by the Venkatesha Education Society, is a premier institution dedicated to excellence in teacher education. Founded by Dr. M. V. Jayaraman, the college has been nurturing skilled, ethical, and socially responsible educators for over four decades. Affiliated with Bangalore North University and approved by NCTE, the institution provides quality education through experienced faculty, modern infrastructure, and a student-centric learning environment.

Since its inception, MVJ College of Education has trained more than 3,100 student teachers, producing outstanding graduates who have secured university ranks and excelled in the field of education. The institution has consistently focused on academic excellence, professional ethics, and holistic teacher development.

To enhance the quality of teacher education, the college has established a Teacher Interactive Cell, which brings together B.Ed. educators from various institutions to exchange ideas, discuss educational challenges, and adopt innovative teaching practices.

The management has continuously invested in developing excellent infrastructure, including a well-stocked library, audio-visual learning facilities, science laboratories, psychology laboratory, computer laboratory, and sports facilities, creating an ideal environment for both academic and personal growth.

MVJ College of Education was established in 1980 by the visionary educationist Dr. M. V. Jayaraman, a renowned scholar and pioneer in the field of education.
